Whichard SoftEye 40 Stick-on Padeye

The Wichard SoftEye 40 (Ref. 6661) is an innovative adhesive pad eye designed to create strong and reliable attachment points on board without drilling holes into the deck or boat structure. Featuring a lightweight fibreglass base combined with a high-strength Dyneema® loop, it provides a durable and versatile solution for securing ropes, equipment and accessories in marine environments.

The SoftEye 40 is quick and easy to install using a structural adhesive, with Sikaflex® 292i recommended for removable installations or epoxy resin for permanent bonding. By eliminating the need for drilling, it helps preserve the watertight integrity of fibreglass, carbon fibre, aluminium and composite surfaces while reducing installation time.

Its compact, low-profile design makes it ideal for a wide range of onboard applications, including securing lee cloths, rope guides, soft attachments, lazy jack systems, textile handholds and lightweight equipment. The combination of corrosion-resistant materials and flexible Dyneema® construction ensures excellent durability, even in demanding marine conditions.
