Spinlock Deckvest VITO/170 Sprayhood

The Spinlock Sprayhood model DW-SHD/170/VT is a protective cover designed to prevent water and spray inhalation in a man-overboard situation. It creates a transparent barrier around the head, allowing safe breathing and significantly enhancing visibility and protection in heavy sea conditions.

This Spinlock sprayhood is compatible with Deckvest LITE, Deckvest CENTO, Deckvest Junior and Deckvest SOLAS Twin Chamber 170 lifejackets. Its primary function is to reduce spray inhalation, a common secondary drowning risk during MOB scenarios.

The Deckvest sprayhood deploys quickly and remains securely attached even in severe weather. Its ventilated structure improves airflow, minimises condensation and offers greater comfort during extended flotation periods.

Built from durable marine-grade materials with a high-quality clear panel, the Spinlock Sprayhood enhances safety in low-visibility conditions or nighttime emergencies, making it an essential accessory for sailors seeking maximum protection for their personal flotation equipment.
