Scotch® Performance Masking Tape 233+ is a premium paper masking tape designed specifically for auto body repair, marine repair and other paint repair applications. It provides a strong hold on smooth surfaces, but removes cleanly without leaving adhesive residue or residue. This tape can be used on all typical automotive surfaces and with water or solvent based paint systems.
Scotch® Performance Masking Tape 233+ has a highly conformable and easy to apply green crepe paper backing. This automotive painter's tape removes cleanly without residue after up to three days of outdoor UV exposure and longer if exposed indoors. Scotch® High Performance Masking Tape also has resistance to paint transfer and provides resistance to temperatures up to 120°C for up to 30 minutes. A special treatment on the back of the paper with a non-stick treatment allows excellent control during unwinding to the end of the 55 m roll. It supports more precise masking and helps eliminate paint loss. Scotch® High Performance Masking Tape 233+ can be used with water or solvent based paint systems and is also suitable for masking areas for wet sanding operations.
