Cressi Fins Pixel grey-blue 40/42

PIXEL is a 100% silicone short fin that enjoys all the Cressi-sub experience as a manufacturer of fins for diving and freediving since 1946 in foot pocket anatomy, materials, design and production. It is intended for swimming but also for snorkeling and water sports that require fins only in certain situations: surfing and windsurfing in all its variants, rafting, canoeing, etc.

It combines two different materials in its structure:

Shore 75 hardness silicone for the upper and midsole. Material with great lightness and resistance to saltpeter, chlorine, ozone and UV. Practically unalterable over time and maintains its performance due to its reticular chemical structure. It is completely unbreakable, either by bending or twisting in any way. It has the added advantage of being relatively shock-absorbing in case of accidental contact with other swimmers.

Shore hardness silicone 45 for foot pocket. It combines the appropriate thicknesses that allow for an ideal comfort-support ratio, reducing the risk of chafing or blisters.
Short shovel with concave cross-section for more work with minimum blade length:

Improved muscle strength and endurance.
They help perfect the kick by promoting a more natural and efficient movement in the water.
They allow you to maintain a higher frequency of kicking, similar to that used in swimming without fins.
Ideal for both speed training and technique exercises, being useful for swimmers of all levels.
Reduced fatigue and joint stress: they reduce pressure on the knees and ankles, reducing the risk of injury.
The fin structure places the foot pocket halfway up the blade so that the transmission of force is effective, with a progressive and pleasant flapping for the swimmer. It also reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of the upper part of the foot pocket.

Due to the prolongation of the upper material (more rigid) to the midsole of the foot pocket, cramps on the sole of the foot are avoided and the transfer of foot footwear-blade energy is improved. The foot pocket ankle area is thicker for reinforcement and greater support and has a small tongue that facilitates its placement. All profiles in contact with the skin are rounded, for greater comfort.

Of particular note are the proportions of the Cressi-sub base last, which is constantly evolving to adapt to the morphological variations that footwear habits have caused in the average proportions of the European foot (almost 20% in the last 30 years).
