3M Tack Cloth 320mm x 40mm

3M™ Tack Cloth is designed for the final cleaning of surfaces prior to painting operations, particularly in waterborne coating systems. It effectively removes dust, dirt and fine particles, helping to reduce the risk of surface defects such as inclusions or imperfections in the final finish.

Manufactured from a blend of 50% viscose and 50% polyester fibres, it incorporates a low-tack resin that ensures efficient particle pick-up without leaving residues or transferring adhesive to the surface. Its formulation is optimised for use with modern coatings, preventing contamination that could affect adhesion or appearance.

The cloth provides a smooth and controlled wiping action, adapting well to various substrates including metal, plastic, wood and primed surfaces. It is recommended for use immediately prior to coating application, using light passes without excessive pressure.

Supplied in a folded format within a resealable pack, allowing for easy storage and maintaining product performance until use. Suitable for professional applications in sectors such as automotive refinishing, marine, industrial and maintenance.
