3M Perfect-It Wool Compound Pad 05753

3M™ Perfect-It™ Wool Compound Pad 05753 is designed for aggressive compounding operations on painted surfaces and gelcoat, enabling fast removal of sanding marks, oxidation and heavy surface defects prior to the polishing stage.

Manufactured from 100% high-performance wool, it provides maximum cutting power within the 3M™ Perfect-It™ system, making it the most aggressive pad in the range for efficient defect correction. It is specifically engineered to refine P1200 and finer sanding scratches while maintaining a controlled and stable polishing action.

The natural wool fibres generate less friction compared to foam pads, allowing heat dissipation during operation. This makes it particularly suitable for use on heat-sensitive substrates, reducing the risk of surface damage while maintaining high productivity.

The pad ensures smooth, consistent contact with the surface, gliding easily across both flat and contoured areas without jumping, improving operator control and delivering uniform results during compounding processes.

Compatible with rotary polishers, it can be used with backing plates or quick-connect systems, enabling fast pad changes and accurate centring for improved efficiency in multi-step polishing operations.

With a diameter of 9" (228.6 mm), it offers a large working surface, increasing productivity in professional applications across automotive, marine and industrial sectors.

Part of the 3M™ Perfect-It™ system, developed to optimise paint correction processes, reduce working time and achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
