Baltic Swedebuoy MOB Rescue System

The Baltic Swedebuoy is a man overboard (MOB) rescue system designed to provide fast, safe and efficient recovery during emergency situations on board. Manufactured by Baltic, the Swedish specialist in marine safety equipment, this system combines buoyancy, visibility and ease of deployment in a compact solution suitable for both sailing yachts and motorboats.

The system includes a rescue buoy with a 38-metre floating line stored inside a durable storage bag designed for easy mounting on the pushpit without the need for tools. Its practical design allows immediate access during rescue manoeuvres, enabling quick deployment in the event of a person falling overboard.

The buoy is equipped with eight high-visibility reflective bands to improve detection in low-light conditions or rough seas. It also features perimeter grab handles and two reinforced lifting points, allowing safer and more controlled recovery of the casualty back on board.

Thanks to its 38-metre floating line, the Baltic Swedebuoy complies with World Sailing OSR requirements for offshore sailing, making it an essential safety item for racing yachts, offshore cruising and vessels where onboard safety is a priority.
