The Tecnoseal 00482 zinc anode is an ogive-shaped sacrificial anode designed to provide cathodic protection to feathering or folding propellers compatible with Max Prop systems with an 83 mm diameter hub. Its main technical function is to neutralize the destructive effects of galvanic corrosion on submerged metal components in marine environments.

This equipment is essential in the preventive maintenance of recreational and professional vessels that regularly navigate in salt water. It is installed directly on the propeller hub to protect the propulsion assembly against electrolytic degradation.
