Halogen-free green cable, 5x2.5 (per meter)

The Prysmian Afumex Class 1000 V (AS) RZ1-K (AS) is a 0.6/1 kV low-voltage power cable designed for installations with high fire-safety requirements. It has 5 conductors of 2.5 mm², one of them a protective earth conductor (G). The conductors are flexible class 5 electrolytic copper, insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and protected by a halogen-free sheath in green, the colour that identifies high-safety (AS) cables.

Its fire-reaction class is Cca-s1b,d1,a1 under EN 13501-6. The cable does not propagate flame or fire, gives off little smoke and very low acidity, and produces no flaming droplets. That makes it a safe choice for public buildings such as hospitals, schools, shopping centres, offices, hotels and car parks. It also suits main supply lines, individual feeders and any installation where people and equipment must be protected in case of fire. Its flexibility makes it easy to lay in cable trays, conduits and trunking.
