Centaur battery chargers are simple, robust and inexpensive devices, but they do not make any concessions to our high quality standards and offer the best results that current technology allows. Epoxy-coated aluminum enclosures and stainless steel fasteners stand up to the harshest environments: heat, humidity, and saline mist. The electronic circuits are protected from oxidation by means of an acrylic varnish. Temperature sensors ensure that all components operate within specified limits, if necessary by automatically lowering the power output during extreme environmental conditions.
