E-Series Selector 3 Position Battery Switch with AFD

The Blue Sea Systems e-Series 11001 selector lets you choose between two battery banks or fully disconnect the system from a single knob. It has no combine ("BOTH") position, which prevents the batteries from being paralleled by mistake.

Its make-before-break contact design allows switching from one bank to the other without interrupting power. The AFD (Alternator Field Disconnect) feature protects the alternator diodes if the switch is turned to OFF while the engine is running. The AFD terminals can also be wired to an LED to indicate switch position.

It is ignition protected, making it safe for installation aboard gasoline powered boats as well as inboard diesel engines. The case design allows surface or rear panel mounting. Tin-plated copper studs provide high conductivity and corrosion resistance in the marine environment.
