LOCTITE 542 is designed to fix and seal threaded metal pipes and connections, as well as other cylindrical metal assemblies. The product cures in the absence of air completely filling the gaps between the thread fillets, to fix threads and joints and prevent loosening and leaks due to impacts and vibrations. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 542 reduces the migration of the liquid product after its application on the substrate.
