Himunication HM390 fixed VHF NMEA 0183 DSC

The Himunication HM390 Fixed VHF NMEA 0183 DSC is a 25 W fixed marine radio designed for safety communications and regular onboard use, featuring NMEA 0183 integration and Class D DSC functionality for digital selective emergency calls.

Its main advantage is the ability to automatically transmit a DSC alert with the vessel's identification and position, enhancing safety in distress situations. This system allows vessels and rescue centers to receive essential information to coordinate assistance. To achieve this, the equipment can work with its internal GPS receiver, which simplifies installation, especially on small boats or in setups where positioning needs to be independent of the main navigation system.

The radio can connect directly to an existing NMEA 0183 network and also send incoming DSC messages to a networked multifunction display or compatible multifunction display. In addition to DSC functions, it incorporates all the features expected in a traditional fixed VHF radiotelephone.

It includes a 20 W megaphone function via an external speaker, useful for maneuvers or port communications. It also features quick access to channel 16, dual and triple watch functions, channel scanning, key lock, backlit keypad, and noise control.

The front panel with IP67 protection provides resistance against splashes and demanding marine environment conditions. Approval number 54.0138.
